Sponsorship
Money shapes research unless the rules say otherwise. These rules say otherwise — in public, in advance.
Every study discloses its funding on the record itself: who paid, what kind of sponsor they are, and what role they played. You can see the format today — each demonstration record in the Research Library carries a Funding disclosure section, currently showing internal demonstration funding because no external sponsor exists.
Sponsors don’t shape the science. For V.O.I.C.E.-funded research, sponsors will have no say in study design, data collection, analysis, or whether and how results are published. That non-interference rule is committed below as proposed until sponsored research exists to be governed by it — writing it now means no future sponsor can claim they didn’t know the terms.
The money will be visible in aggregate, too. A complete list of funding sources will be published every year. If you ever wonder who keeps the lights on, the answer will be one click away — not buried in a filing somewhere.
